Scroll down to see how it all began
This year, we are excited to be gathering once again at Epping Oval (on Norfolk Rd).
So invite your family, friends and neighbours to to join you to celebrate the spirit of Christmas.
During Covid-19, we enjoyed ‘Carols at Home’ watch parties as a way of bringing everyone together when we weren’t able to meet in a public space. You can re-watch these events via our YouTube channel.

A big thank you to this year’s sponsors …

Community Bank Epping, part of Bendigo Bank, is again a major sponsor of our carols – as they have been for many years. This is the only bank left in Epping and is also a little different as it is a community bank. It returns a substantial amount of its profits each year to the community through grants and sponsorships.

North Epping Carols – how it all began …
This free community event was started in 2006 on the grounds at All Saints Anglican Church North Epping. These grounds could only hold around 200 people and as demand for the event grew it was relocated first to North Epping Oval and eventually to Epping Oval on Norfolk Road in 2010 so that more locals could be accommodated. With a larger venue and ability to accommodate more people, the event grew in its offering. It became a collaborative event organised by multiple local churches in the area. These have included All Saints Anglican Church, LifeWay Lutheran Church, Sydney Calvary Church (Korean) and the Northern District Chinese Christian Church Sydney (NDCCCS). Over the last few years local business have got on board too, providing financial sponsorship.

The North Epping Carols attracts more than 2000 locals who gather together at Epping Oval to celebrate Christmas. The churches organise food stalls, coffee carts and glow sticks which are all available for purchase. Locals are encouraged to bring a picnic and their family and friends to sing along at this community event. There is a full on stage choir, performances by local artists, a show for the children and a Christmas message from our MC. The night concludes with a Fireworks display donated by a local business.
